    JOB OPENING: JOB CAPTAIN

    We are looking for an energetic, proactive, professional individual to join our team as a job captain. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design and eager to play a central role in the development and coordination of our projects, moving from early concept design through construction.

    Required Experience and Skills:

    • 3-5 years minimum professional experience. Having several summer internships during school is a plus, but these do not count towards the minimum of 3 years continuous professional experience.
    • Being licensed or in the process of being licensed is a plus but not a requirement.
    • Strong experience in documentation and drawing set development, including past experience in both Construction Documents and Construction Administration.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills, able to work and communicate within a larger team environment. Excellent team player. Experience with consultant coordination and client communication a plus.
    • Modelmaking experience at a range of scales and model types.
    • Good attention to detail, highly organized, and able to develop and implement systems to ensure work quality.
    • High level of proficiency with common design software such as REVIT, Rhino and representation tools including Enscape, Lumion and Adobe Suite. Working knowledge of communication and collaboration software such as Bluebeam.

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve as day-to-day coordinator on projects, working closely with project management and design leadership, to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
    • Maintain drawing standards for each project, working closely with project architect and senior technical architect to deliver drawing sets.
    • Produce drawings and visual collateral, including models, for design meetings and client meetings.

    JOB OPENING: OFFICE AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

    We are looking for a proactive, versatile individual to join our team as an office and business development coordinator. This ideal candidate will be highly organized, with strong administrative and communication skills. The candidate will support with the functions and operations of the office and will also support on business development pursuits. Prior experience in an administrative role in architecture or a similar creative field is a benefit, but self-starting candidates with a range of experiences could be well suited to this role. This role has potential for growth and will involve close collaboration with design and project management leadership at the firm.

    Required Experience and Skills:

    • 2-5 years minimum professional experience, ideally in an architectural office or other professional services field.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience copy editing a plus.
    • Experience with or interest in developing visual communication skills. Experience with Adobe Suite, particularly InDesign, and the development of presentations and printed materials is a plus.
    • Able to self-start and manage one’s own workload. This is a small office with wide range of pursuits, so the ability to initiate work and provide direction is important.
    • Ability to coordinate and communicate within a larger team environment.
    • Good attention to detail, highly organized, and able to develop and implement systems to ensure work quality and timeliness.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide general office administrative support.
    • Provide support with scheduling and meeting organization for Principals in the office and for business development pursuits.
    • Support the business development team. Responsibilities here would range depending on experience but could include serving as day-to-day internal coordinator on business development pursuits, managing schedules and coordinating internal staff for business development pursuits.
    • Occasional writing and presentation development to support business development pursuits, in partnership with design and project management leadership.

    JOB OPENING: ARCHITECTURAL INTERN

    Glavovic Studio is accepting applications for students or recent graduates to join the office as interns for a maximum 12 week period. Work ranges from assisting the project teams with CAD, physical modeling (from study models to presentation models), digital modeling, renderings, videos and animations, graphic presentation, and design studies. Applicants must have excellent academic standing, experience with a wide range of computer design applications, and strong physical model making skills.
